The EDGE Grant is Enterprise Singapore’s business support scheme for companies undertaking new projects to strengthen capabilities, improve productivity and expand overseas. From 30 September 2026, EDGE brings together the Enterprise Development Grant (EDG), the Market Readiness Assistance (MRA) grant and the Productivity Solutions Grant (PSG) into one scheme. What is the EDGE Grant?
The EDGE Grant supports companies undertaking new projects to strengthen capabilities, improve productivity and expand into new markets. From 30 September 2026, it replaces the EDG, MRA and PSG for Enterprise Singapore-supported applications.
For businesses considering an online store or a digital marketing project, the starting point is to identify a supported activity and a suitable solution. Funding depends on the business, the project scope and the applicable grant requirements.
What activities can the EDGE Grant support?
EDGE covers business activities across areas including automation, digitalisation, business strategy, financial management, innovation, internationalisation, standards and sustainability.
Each activity has its own requirements. A service is not automatically eligible simply because it involves technology or business growth.

EDGE Grant for digital marketing
Businesses exploring EDGE Grant support for digital marketing can consider approved packages that help them build search visibility, reach potential customers and measure campaign performance.
MediaPlus Digital offers three-month packages with different combinations of:
- Search engine optimisation (SEO): website and content optimisation for relevant searches.
- Generative engine optimisation (GEO): work to improve how business information is presented for AI-assisted discovery.
- Search engine marketing (SEM): Google Ads campaign planning and management.

Your business objectives and existing marketing setup help determine which package is suitable. Advertising spend is separate from package fees.

Who is eligible for the EDGE Grant?
Baseline requirements include Singapore business registration and at least 30% ownership by Singapore citizens or permanent residents. Further conditions depend on the activity.
Meeting the baseline criteria does not guarantee approval. Check your business and proposed scope against the selected activity’s full requirements.
How much EDGE Grant funding is available?
EDGE has an overall annual grant ceiling of S$100,000 per company. A shared S$30,000 sublimit applies to single-function digital solutions, integrated enterprise systems and selected automation activities, which is where e-commerce and digital marketing typically sit.
These ceilings are not the amount automatically available for an individual package. Your award depends on eligible costs, the activity’s support rate, applicable limits and remaining grant capacity.
Ask for a quotation that clearly separates package fees, additional work and estimated support.
Frequently asked questions about the EDGE Grant
Is EDGE replacing the PSG?
For Enterprise Singapore-supported applications, EDGE takes over from the PSG, EDG and MRA from 30 September 2026. Check the relevant agency’s arrangements for schemes administered elsewhere.
What happens to my existing PSG application or approved project?
Earlier applications continue under the relevant scheme. Existing approved projects can proceed through completion and claims, subject to their original terms and deadlines.
Can I apply for EDGE if my business received PSG support previously?
Yes. Previous support does not by itself prevent an application. The proposed project must meet current requirements.
Can EDGE support a website revamp?
A proposed rebuild needs to be assessed against the current e-commerce activity rules. Explain what will be built, the capabilities required and whether any work has started. Routine maintenance, minor amendments or an existing website subscription should not be assumed to qualify.
Can I apply if I already run SEO or advertising campaigns?
Share your current services, campaign dates and proposed new campaign scope. Existing marketing activity does not automatically rule out a new project, but renewing a contract or changing agencies alone does not establish eligibility.
Are all website features and marketing services covered?
No. Eligibility relates to the approved solution and scope. An additional integration, creative service or software subscription should not be treated as claimable unless it is included within the applicable approved scope.
Is the grant an upfront discount?
No. Funding is reimbursed after completion, full payment and satisfaction of the claim requirements. Plan for the initial project expenditure.
Does a pre-approved solution guarantee grant approval?
No. Solution pre-approval and approval of your company’s application are separate. Any funding estimate remains provisional until the agency issues its decision.
How do I prepare for an application?
Start with your intended business outcome, your current website or marketing setup, and the required deliverables. Review the quotation and official application conditions before committing to payment or starting work. Your company should submit and manage its application directly.
